Most of the bands in these concerts were to be found on 8 track carts. Be
sure to check out that Mountain show in New York, December 31, 1970. That
live version of "Mississippi Queen" takes no prisoners.

Mountain was indeed a Top 40 biggie back in those days. A good 8
track group, too! Another one from that era, the funk/rockers Canned
Heat. Both seem to be apropos for showng off your 8 track
installation to the unwashed masses.

I remember when I had the old Honda smog tested the last time. The
kid was wheeling it onto the dynamometer, and he spied the 8 track. I
told him to go ahead and push the cartridge in and he was amazed at
how well it sounded, let alone that it actually worked!

cool site..

no doubt DoucheBoob also hates Leslie West- anything heavy and cool, is
not DoucheBoob material...he prefers 10 copies of Chicago VII...

(laughter...)
