Why You didn't ask someone who know these countries - I think that
really - it is better to invest in philately than to bet for Germany -
there (Germany, France, England) native citizent are now like in USA
native population - other come by modern "bounty" ship - and didn't
have an "german" working education - including soccer!!!

I can understand You. Netherlands vs. Italia, I bet on a selfgoal for
goal number 3; the slow motion showed quite clear, that the Italian
defender was the last one to touch the ball. But UEFA gave the goal
score to Mr. Bronkorst and I lost 160 US $ . Ok, I got 2o bucks for my
second bet, goal by header, but it was not correct. Mr. Oliver Kahn has
retired, by the way :-).

Ya, Gerhard, I take Olie Khan at age 90 over Jens Lehmann any day. Germany
is going the same way as Denmark: they haven't been serious competition to
anyone since Peter Schmeickel left. Hope to get my money back (and more) on
France and Italy this pm.
