does anyone know how to repair the hammer coil that is not energising after its moved to play postion thankyou

Michael,
What exactly are you referring to as the "hammer coil"? There is a write-in coil, which sets the selection pin when a selection is made. There is a read-out reset coil which returns the pin to home position when the selection is picked up. Then, there is the scan coil which pulses during the selection write-in sequence to assist the scan switch assembly. If you can be more specific, we can probably assist you. Respectfully, David
