Default Need Help Identifying Grandmother's Dolls

Hello,
My Grandmother passed away and left me her Barbie and doll collection.
There are over 140 Barbies (still in original boxes) and over 70 dolls.
Figuring out the value of the Barbies wasn't too difficult but I'm
having a tough time trying to figure out the identity of several dolls
and their values. My friend said this newsgroup would be a great place
to ask the experts, so I'm hoping someone out there can help me.

I would greatly appreciate any information that someone could share on
the name, manufacturer or value of these dolls...here's a link to see
the pics:

Thanks,

Connie

No replies yet...maybe this is the wrong place to come for help. Anyone
know of any doll experts out there that I could contact directly to
identify these dolls?

Hi,

Such a nice collection and slide show! My poor family will be doing the
same thing as you when I'm gone.....trying to identify all my dolls!

I recognize some of the dolls but I'm no expert. Your best bet is to get a
good doll pricing book with pictures in it. But I'll help you with a few of
them as soon as I get a chance. I have some good books.....and a few look
just like some I have.

I think your doll #2 is a Toni by Ideal and #5 is a Play House Dolls of All
Nations by Duchess Dolls Corp. Is it about 7 1/2 "? Sorry, that's all I
can identify.
