This note was bought for £200 at the Spink auction mentioned in the listing,
it's now at £100 with 3 hours to go, will it sell for more than £200?

It was bought for £200 and sold for £102, bad news for the seller then.

Many notes were offered in the Spink auction that had low numbers and I was
surprised at the high prices achieved, it looks like auction fever was the
cause and it's now subsided.

Collectors like low numbered notes because they are difficult to acquire,
the Spink auction offering many may have killed the market a bit, but for
how long I wonder. Billy
