Default My experience buying a porcelain sign in Buenos Aires

Hi All,
My Experience with this seller was fine ( cosasviejasmex ). Actually
probably better than fine.
I purchased a sign from them for Aprx $200 - Thinking what the heck,
even if its fake, some posters go
for more than that. Well i took it to an appriaser and he said in the
current condition the sign is probably
worth around at least $600 but he recommended a couple of restoration
places and said i could probably get much for it .
if i have it restored. Any suggestions? some people say leave them as
is, others say get them restored and cleaned up.

I was pretty apprehensive to say the least about buying something
from south America , i can say i have no regrets, the sign was
better than expected. I bought an old CINZANO sign for my bar from
cosasviejasmex,
well packed and shipping was fine.
