Have you been posting coins stuff to Google groups?

I get online about once a week or so, from my wife's office. Most of my time
is spent living a "This Old House" nightmare. Now, I am stripping old carpet
adhesive from once nice old wooden floors. I hauled the last of the stuff from
the basement. The watersoftener has been dormant for several years. It was
new, once, but the previous tenants were not much for keeping things up. With
no stove, I brought the barbeque grill over. With no refrigerator, we have a
cooler with ice. On and on it goes.

I wrote into November for my NUMISMATIST column and knocked out a couple of
other articles. We are camped out in the living room until the bedrooms are
done.

Michael "Tool Time" Marotta

long PS -- I was never one for tools. This is a new experience for me. I am
having a great time but mostly my father-in-law and I take turns tearing our
hair out while the other guy does things the first guy finds abhorrent.

On the plus side, I am writing this from my deck on 3 1/2 acres of pines and
deciduous in northern Michigan. It could be worse. (My wife is the one with
the degrees in computering and the Microsoft certifications. She treats me
like a mere user. So, when she uncables this set up from the house, I am off
line again.)

However, I did bring my fountain pens and tablets and the postal lady is real
nice.
