Default From Socrates to Palmer Method to typewriters to iPods

From today's Miami Herald...although I believe I read parts of this
elsewhere this week...a short opinion piece on the changing history of
technology as it relates to the transmission of knowledge.

In the article the writer says:
/and out with them went those distinctive ''tip fill'' two-ounce bottles
of Waterman's ink
that are now collectible antiques sold on eBay./
The only bottles like that I know of are Sheaffer not Waterman. Am I
wrong? Did Waterman
have bottles with the extra little lip?
.....Fred

Look at the Waterman bottle shape. As ink gets low in the bottle, you
tip it over on any one of its faceted sides, and VOILA--instant well!

john cline ii, always amazed at how long it takes some to find this!
