Captain Bucktooth
Hi all!
After a really middle age trip, Captain Bucktooth is ready to the next stage of his travel. I'll post photos of him in various locations. My sons asked for the token, and I told him the name. As they do not speack so much english I should translate "bucktooth", and they inmediatly assigned a nickname in spanish for him: "Capitán Piños", really good nickname in spanish. Regards. Fernando |

(Sorry, no tildes or upside down question marks. Take me too long to figure them out!) Piños is another word in Spain for 'dientes' or 'teeth'.. As a kid in Cuba [pre-Castro], someone with 'buckteeth' was called "Dientes Frios" [Cold Teeth]... Jorge |

Jorge Thanks for the explaination Jorge. All I could come up with was the nickname that Manuel Noriega had. "Cara de Piño", or in English, "Pineapple face". My knowledge of Spanish is limited, however I do know what "cervesa frio" means! |
