You must be my long-lost brother. I have a stack
of those National pads right in front of me -- those
that aren't sitting on clipboards scattered around
the house:
"Lithographed for true engineering accuracy.

I always preferred pencil, though. Not that I liked
to erase, but I thought I wrote better with a pencil.
Something about the drag improved my jerky
penmanship, and I thought I could make a line
with more variable density to it.

I use the green Ampad engineering pads for my work,
pen and pencil. Those grids are somehow reassuring.
