As for this NG, it's dead beyond resuscitation. *I tossed a bunch of
crap related to 8 track, most of it going to good homes. *I got tired
of wasting so much time making that stuff work reliably, and when I
sold the car that had an 8 track player in it, that was the end of it.

Right now, my big thing is battling with Time-Warner Cable about their
usurious rates and screwy blocking of HDTV programming. *I got myself
a Sharp Aquos HDTV, and have been snickering about the supposed
quality of what they offer as HDTV these days. *I was an engineer
present at the first HDTV satellite transmisison of HDTV from Malibu,
CA to Tokyo in 1989, so I've seen real, uncompressed HDTV, and, while
1080i is pretty good, it's nothing compared to what the real deal is.
Cable operators are basically thieves and are technically incompetent,
much the same way the cell phone providers are. *$70 a month?? *For
THIS?? *Gimme a break.

Like me, Frank hasn't posted here either in a while for the very same
reasons that I haven't been posting here. But I have been
communicationg with him through personal correspondence via e-mail and
he doing okay as well. He has lately been posting in another Usenet
group called rec.music.beatles. He has been posting regularly there
for quite some time and he has been sharing what he knows with
everyone in that newsgroup and everything was great with him. But now,
Noodles has found him and he has been trying to make Frank look bad in
front of everyone in that group. I am also a member of
rec.music.beatles and I also posted some more stuff regarding Noodles
and encouraged everyone in that particular forum to be careful when
posts in the forum. Not only that, to make matters worse, Noodles has
found some personal stuff that Frank posted in other newsgroups
catering to adults only pleasures and Noodles has been clicking them
and pasting them in the rec.music.beatles forum through his numerous
sock puppet accounts. This time, one of Noodles sock puppets has a
woman's name. Don't that beat all. Plus, Noodles has possibly been
using Frank's name and posting forged posts in that particular
newsgroup. The only problem is, if Noodles is exactly doing this that
there is no way that Frank can prove that it's indeed Noodles.
Apparently, Noodles is doing this in revenge for Frank cutting him off
years ago and Noodles isn't going to stop until Frank starts doing
business with him again and associate with him. Frank, so far, has not
given Noodles what he wants and I believe that Noodles is really going
to pour it on Frank until he weakens and gives in. But Frank has
remained strong and hasn't given Noodles what he wants.

Frank did post a warning in that group about Noodles and even exposed
him in one of the threads. I know that this won't stop Noodles from
doing what he does, but Frank felt that it was his duty to do and now,
Noodles is starting to find new people to be obsessed with. I guess
that the terror of Drums, PA is back with a vengeance and he is never
going to stop anytime soon.

I just thought that I would let you all know how I was and what our
