Default mold on paper money

Paper needs to be stored in a place with minimal humidity and at a
comfortable temperature. Place your safe in living area of the house
where there is a constant warm tempreature. Make sure it is placed
against an inside wall. Keep your notes in archival quality mylar
holders and make sure to "air" them regularly. This will prevent mould
and "rust". Ideal humidity should be kept at around 50%. Very low
levels of moisture in the air cause shrinkage and embrittlement in
paper. High humidity accelerates the rate of degradation and can cause
mold to bloom.

As for getting "rid" of the mould on your existing items - I do not
have an answer for that. Just make sure that the spores don't get onto
the rest of your collection.

I put my paper collection in new sentry fire proof safes. Now after 2
years I have mold growing on the money and paper cases I keep coins in.
How do I get rid of it and prevent it.
