I posted earlier that I was putting together a set of uncirculated
Jefferson
Nickels.
No proofs (at this time) no RPM no FS, and no over dates and no over mint
marks
unless they just fall into my hands :-) MS-63 or so is good enough for
this
particular set.
Well I need 6 to finish and I am having a tough time finding the ones I
need.
I even bought a few a long time ago from Littleton's. They had great
coins
but the price was
pretty high, no they were very high.
What makes it more difficult is that I want to pay by
paypal from funds held. Most internet dealers don't offer that service
and
I understand that.
Jakes doesn't have them at this time and Wayne Herndon doesn't have them
and
I know of no other
dealers that take paypal.
Finding them on eBay is not a problem but getting them un-slabbed at a
decent price is.
Maybe I am always overly cautious on unc coins on eBay but most don't fit
my
comfort zone for one reason or the other.
Care to guess which ones I need?
39 d or s? Nope!
War Nickels? Nope!
1942-d? Nope!
1950-d? Nope!
I need the:
1941 p and d
the 1947-d
the 1982 and 1983 p
and the 1996-d.
Maybe I should buy them by the roll as they seem
to have great potential?
Anyway if I can finish by the end of the year, I can have
some new New Year resolutions.
