Most 78 record playing jukeboxes only play one side of each record. Yes,
the record has two sides but the operator had to decide which side of
the record would play on the juke. In the final years of 78 playing
jukes (ie, Wurlitzer 1500, Seeburg A) the jukebox could play either side
of the 78 calling for the larger, two-sided, title strip. Until that
time, operators had no need for a two song title, title strip for a
78rpm machine.
