British woman found dead in Izmir

A British national was found dead on Wednesday in the western Turkish
province of Izmir.

The body of Susan Elizabeth Newsam was discovered in front of her apartment
in Selcuk.

Newsam, 56, was reported to have been living alone on the third floor of the
building and was a partner in a real estate agency in the Kusadasi district
of neighboring Aydin province, a popular tourist area..

Her body was sent to the forensic medicine foundation in Izmir for an
autopsy to determine the cause of her death.

An investigation is underway.
