Tried the low profile software but out of the gate it was just full of
errors when i installed it on my Vista machine (Yeah yeah, i know..boo
vista..heh.. but I'm an IT guy and usually know how to get around most
of the problems I run into before frustration sets
in!...usually..heh). First I had to rename all the files in one of
its directories to get rid of the 'X' at the beginning of the every
filename, just to get it to startup and function. And when i went to
demo how the printouts look, it gave a floating point error. Not a
great start - it looks really powerful - but even the import isn't
quite right...it only lets you import from DBF...who on earth uses dbf
nowadays? Excel 2007 no longer lets you export files as DBF, so
that's not helping the situation either..
