Default looking for help identifying a BCE-"Life with Picasso" Gilotand Lake 1966?

their copy BCE and half aren't. At the bottom of the rear board
instead of a dot/square/leaf there is a gilt stamp number string 23266
which is matched in exactly the same position of the dust jacket (just
the number string, not in a box).

any experience anyone has had with this title I'd appreciate any info
they can offer.

thanks

Hi,

My copy does not have a dust jacket. But let me describe
what it has. It is a McGraw Hill publication from 1964,
stating "First Edition" on the copyright page. Curiously,
on the same line as the words "First Edition" after about
two inches, the numbers 23266 appear. The covers are fine
buckram cloth, with mustard colored endpapers. There is a
collar, but no top staining. Bronze colored title, author,
publisher stamped on spine; no impressions or words on front
cover. There is no gilt stamp or dot or impression, etc.,
on the back cover. Outer edges of paper are semi-rough, top
and bottom edges, smooth. Cover size is 6.5 x 9.25 inches.

I am guessing that with the five digit number stamped on the
back, yours is a book club edition.
