I have four or five "souvenir" coffee mugs that a friend at work got
for me at Thrift Town. He's always rummaging for **** for his on-going
garage sale, and, he knows I'm a Dead Head. So, he found this set of
plastic cups, of a type that were common in the 1970s. The cup white
plastic cup has an outer clear plastic liner. Printed paper could be
inserted between the cup and the outer clear liner so that the cup
showed a message or an advertisement.
The set he found and got for me have reproductions of the GD NYE top-
hatted skeleton (by Rick Griffith) or another Family Dog poster from
the 1960s. I use one to hold my toothbrushes in the bathroom. They
were 50 cents apiece when he got them about 10 years ago.
