I am a grandfather. One of my grandsons, a ten year-old, wants to
begin collecting stamps.

I'm wondering how to help him get started, what album to get, where to
get a decent assortment of stamps for a beginner, and so on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I noticed Tom Alciere's site and may order the USA assortment
therefrom. He's interested only in US stamps.
