WWI U.S. Army winter long underwear and undershirt Set

This WWI U.S. Army Winter Long Underwear and Undershirt Set is in excellent
condition. This set belonged to Lt. William Kaehni, 2nd Coastal Artillery
and American Expeditionary Forces in France. The undershirt is long sleeve
heavy woven cotton. His name is ink stamped on the backside. The shirt
measures 29 inches long with a sleeve length of 19 inches. The long
underwear is a similar heavy woven cotton. The front is a 3-button fly. The
backside has tie strings. The underwear measures 39 inches long and a waist
of about 17 inches across. The underwear has a quartermaster stamp (84,
Vestsa, June 1917, Boston, MA). A photocopy of Lt. Kaehni and a copy of WWI
Ohio roster is included.
