Is the magazine fully loaded with records? If only half full they can
make different noises. If not full you can load it evenly, skipping spaces.

I think I got it figured out. It turns out one of the magnets came
unglued. I believe the noise I was hearing was the magnet teetering
in the housing on the last glue strip before it broke loose. I have
re-glued it have it back together and it is quiet so far.
