Default Kosovo Question

..

Here are two copies of a Kosovo stamp from 2009. *They were used as
postage on a
letter to the USA in 2011. *Please note the country name in three
languages at the top.http://cjoint.com/12ma/BCbsy5mjwzz.htm
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one sample is stamp issued by Kosovo (self-declared Independent)
Post Authority,
and without any authorization from Serbia (Kosovo are still part of
Serbia, just one autonomy),
probably Scott catalog and Michel will register them because it is
"Official" issue from
country that Germany and USA recognized, but no UN recognized it, and
also no UPU have it.

Finally, here is an obvious illegal Kosova set from 2000.
One give away is that the inscriptions are in ENGLISH only.http://cjoint.com/12ma/BCbs4wcWvQ6.htm

And this "Formula" issue is one great "label" issue, that some stamp
dealer (from England) have in
stock, and still offering it around. Not worth one dime from
collectors point, but people have it like "label"
and some kind of propaganda.

The overprint is still a mystery.

It is not mystery at all, this is overprint made by "privat" person,
mean illegal overprint, made on official stamp
issued in Yugoslavia. This is done on many other countries, like if
You have some samples from SSSR with
some kind of "independent" republic overprint on regular SSSR stamp.
Again one nice attempt to "stole" from collectors.
best regards to all
