This is incredible! If the presidential dollar coins are the size of the

perhaps even smaller than the quarter.

Why would it need to be smaller than a quarter? What is wrong with
the current size?

take care,
Scott

If the dollar bill goes away and is replaced by dollar coins of today's
size,
people will not use them because of the weight and bulk. That will be
another boondoggle. How often do you get any of the current dollar
coins anywhere except at stamp vending machines? In the UK, the
1 pound coin (worth about $1.80) is the size a nickel and has been
accepted by the public.

Just ask the Canuckistanis. Their 'Loon' C$1 coin is exactly the same
dimensions as the current USA $1 coin.
