Need some expert RCC advice on how this happens:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=8312958705

My bid (reblone2) @ 16:04:054---Ok, worked fine, next bid was at
16:01:57 and was higher than mine, so all is fine, but the next and
winning bid came at 16:01:46, or 8 seconds before my bid went in, and
11 second before the guy that beat me out. How can the times be thus?

I am sure that there is an explanation somewhere but I tried going thru
the maze of ebay rule recs and questions and could not shake out
anything I could understand.

Rick

Hi Rick.
Not sure exactly what the problem is here... The amounts seem OK, so I'm
guessing you are puzzled by the sequence of events as ebay displayed it.

(your bid time corrected to 16:01:54)

I believe the problem is twofold: ebay's inability to keep up with the
avalanche of bids that appear in the last few seconds, and (certainly in my
case) the persistence of cached pages which make it seem that there has been
no activity, when in fact there has.

I can refresh - forced refresh - refresh again - and still some bids don't
appear, so my snipe gets bounced because the item has already gone over my
limit. No big deal for me, 'cause my limit is my limit, but it is
frustrating.

As I said, I'm not sure what the problem is here. The times seem OK to me.
Was the display of the item in the last few seconds awry?
