Also, looking at the source for the page, I see that you are using
wildcards within OR searches. This didn't used to work, but trying it
myself I see that it does now. Any idea when this changed?

I apologize for the inconvenience, Tony. I have forgotten to mention
that only European and American countries are supported so far. Other
countries can be added if there exists serious interest.

The possibility to search by wildcards within OR searches was added
during last year. It was not officially announced by ebay, same as
with other changes in the search engine performed last year.
