Methinks he is just touting the collection he has just bought and is
now trying to sell. While big ticket auction firms will usually not
have them, the smaller ones almost always have collections,
accumulations, and postage lots of U.S. on offer. My experience is
that these usually sell at either a percentage of face value or deeply
discounted catalogue value.
