Zimbabwe continues to suffer from hyper inflation.

Less than a year ago, a local letter cost Z$100.00 to mail. Now I
understand it costs Z$3,000.00 to mail that same local letter.

On July 10, 2007 a new set of four stamps were issued, depictingwomen
who each made a special contribution to Zimbabwe.

The stamps were designed by local graphic artist JOAN SORIANO.

The stamps are as follows:

$7,500.00 MBUYA NEHANDA (DIED 1898)

$29,000.00 LOZIKEYI (CIRCA 1855-1919)

$35,000.00 MOTHER PATRICK (1863-1900)

$45,000.00 AMAI SALLY MUGABE (1932-1992)
