OTOH, I have no idea how many bottles of ink I have.

Orange...)

NINETEEN Noodler's?!

The addiction is getting worse!

I've got about 40 or so Noodler's, maybe 50.

Whew! Good, that makes me feel better.

As far as the Private Reserve, looks like you could use a few more of
those.

Sorry, I rather not. PR and I have insurmountable differences of opinion. I
don't like the colors, they strike me as being a little "off" somehow, or
the way they make my pens write, drier with considerably less glide. This PR
that I still have is turquoise. It's the second bottle of PR I got and I
bought it to give PR a second chance. Unfortunately, as much as I like
turquoise, I dislike it nearly as much as the first bottle that I gave away
because I disliked it too much to keep to use "eventually."

American Blue--I used to think of this one as really required,
but now that Nathan has come up with Baystate Blue, damn, I don't know
if I'll be using American Blue much more any more.

Yes, I used to really like Noodler's Blue and Pelikan's, but that BB has
pretty well blown all the blues away.

But Sherwood is still required, even if it takes forever to dry. I've
got all the Private Reserve inks. I'd say to stay away from Burgundy
Mist and Black Cherry, but the rest are all pretty good. If you don't
have Noodler's Gruen Cactus, I highly recommend Spearmint.

But-but, neither have appealed to me. My favorite is Quink green because
it's bluish- instead of yellowy-green and it writes well. Noodler's Verdun
Green is nice for my darker green and now that I have Quick Lime for my
light green, I think I'm set for green. All I have to do is use up my
Pelikan and Skrip. The Skrip is okay, too, but I prefer the Quink.

I never
have liked Dakota Red as much as some people, and don't much care for
Arabian Rose either. Certainly no need for the PR blacks.

Yup. The black is what I gave away.

Diamine--I've got about 20 of these and the only ones I really care
about is the orange.

I'm looking forward to getting mine.

I read about the waterproof inks you're using, and if you care for a
burgundy, I highly recommend Swishmix Burgundy. It doesn't have the
dullness of Noodler's other waterproof inks.

Yes, I've been using the non-wp burgundy and like it so much that I got the
wp one, too.

For non-wp turquoise, I like Sheaffer's and for non-wp purple, I like
Waterman's. I also like Waterman's Havana brown. I think I just like the
basics, as long as they make my pens write how I like them to write, and are
the shades I want. I really like having waterproof counterparts of the
essentials: black, blue-black, blue, turquoise. That's why I was so
surprised about my having 19 Noodler's. They snuck up on me.

I only bought the MBs so I could have the bottles, but the Sepia is doing
well and I'll try another, soon.
