Hi Bill and Victor,
Very interesting subject !
Thanks Victor for your post (and of course Bill for the Linn's article).
I would be very keen to read it. Is it possible to look freely at Linn's
online edition ? If yes what is the url to Bill's article ?
If not, may be Bill could be so kind to send me a copy of his article
(for my own private use only).
BTW : I just visited Linn's website and registered to their free
newsletter. But apparently, their last newsletter (dated April 12) does
not mention Bill's review.
I also discovered that they sell the Scott catalogue as an app for
SmartPhones.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/scott...484086693?mt=8
But it is for the moment only available for Apple ; not Android :-(
And the few comments from users are not very encouraging (just a copy of
the catalogs, not possible to highlight stamps whereas it is possible in
the PDF version of the catalogues).
Also *very* expensive : 210 US $ for the set of 7 catalogs
(if I understood correctly their advert)
If this is right, I now find the Yvert (World catalogue plus monthly
updates) online at 100 € (about 132 US $) as a bargain ;-)
