Vintage 1800s Family Photo Hinged Book, 38 photos

This 1800s U.S. Family Photo Book has 38 pictures in it. It is in very good
condition. The book is cloth covered with thick (1/8 inch) thick cardboard
pages each designed to hold a photograph on each side. The edges of the
cardboard are gold gilding. The book measures 4 ¼ inches x 5 ¾ inches x 2
inches thick. The book has a decorative carved brass hinge that hooks onto a
loop on the front cover. There are portrait photos of men, women, children,
babies, and elders (grandparents). The photos have the name of the
photography company on the backside (I have taken a picture on one of
these). There is one photo of a young man in a military uniform (looks to be
a Civil War uniform). Also included is a glass slide photo of one of the
women. The book is in very good condition. It is all together and can be
opened without problem. The cloth part of the spine has a couple of tears
(see pictures), but it can still be handled and opened without problem. The
some of the cardboard pages have very light soiling, but no water damage.
