Default Overproduction of stamps

PAS #8 readying for take off SIR!

Much better idea would be just, say, 8 cmmemmoratives, plus 3 or 4

'end of year' holiday issues. Save a big hassle for the smaller post

offices. The 'cave mentality' keeps pushing the new issues and there's

not enough sales for them to handle it!

Interestingly, when I went to get Christmas stamps for my cards this year (last 2 weeks of Nov), my local Canada PO (in a pharmacy) was all sold out - but they had lots of the various defins.

I like the lady who works there . (One of a very few people who knows what an IRC is. She used to work for the REAL post office and is fully aware of collectors and their needs. She always tries to stock as much philatelic stock as possible. As for the part time teenagers who work the counter at night, I even worry about their ability to read and write - never mind give me a rate for a parcel to Tannu Tuva. LOL
