Thanks, DesotoFireflite, I was just going to give up on this post, thinking maybe I was doing something wrong, but it is nice to know it's getting out there. I'll leave this on for a while....

Maybe the gripper isn't releasing at the right time to drop the record squarely on the turntable. This is quite an exacting procedure with almost no room for any amount of tolerance. I had a...

As I have gotten no responses on this, perhaps I didn't make it clear in my original post what I was trying to say. I would really like to come up with a fix on this, so let me try again: The...

Check the mute relay to be sure. It may be hanging up in the "on" position, muting out the sound when the record is in "play" mode. There is a quick and easy way to check this out: The juke will...

Everything you have described seems to point either to defective bearings in your motor, or else the belt guide that is affixed to the motor shaft has come loose. The guide is usually held on the...

Wow! Finally found someone else on this forum with a Rockola 442! When you say it doesn't "reset" at the end of the record, do you mean the record simply continues to spin and the arm stays on...

I know this is going to sound ridiculously simple, but since the amp and other electro-mechanical systems seem to be getting "no power", and since your fuses all check out as good, might there be...
