Rockola 1422 missing speaker help

Rockola used an electrodynamic speaker; 5000 Ohm field coil, 8 Ohm voice coil.
The mounting board has two horizontal slots alongside the speaker. I sold my

AMI Continental Pin Wheel Slecting Problem

NEVER - absolutely NEVER - use WD40 as a lubricant. The stuff attracts dust,
gets gummy, and fouls up moving parts. The pins should NOT be lubed,
particularly not with anything petroleum based. ...

Seeburg q160 TSU1 recapping

Verify that you have the POSITIVE lead of the two electrolytic capacitors
located under the chassis connected to the chassis. The TSU series used a

Seeburg pinbanks

There's no substitute for completely disassembling the selector assembly (aka
pin bank); it's nearly impossible to get it completely clean by any other
means. Here are some suggestions that should...

TECH: how to install/apply veneer to a juke cabinet

This is excellent advice. However, I would suggest the use of a foam foller
instead of a brush, as the roller applies a more even coat of adhesive.
Brushes tend to get clumps of adhesive built up...

Skipping selections, etc....

Use absolutely NO lubricant in the pin bank assembly. Lubricant will attract
dust and/or moisture which can lead to erratic selection operation down the
road. If the selection pins are not moving...

Re-Capping an MRA-1 Amp

If F1 blows there aren't that many common causes; in likely order, I'd say:

1) One of the chassis-mounted filter capacitors is excessively leaky - or even
internally shorted

2) The 5U4 tube is...

Re-Capping an MRA-1 Amp

If the 5U4 tube doesn't light up then it's possible the power transformer is
defective. The Wired Selection Receiver chassis sends 120 VAC to the
amplifier through the inter-chassis connector -...

End caps on seeburg B rack

There are (at least) two significant differences between the B and C magazine
assemblies. On the B the popularity meter is reset via a bakelite knob that
sticks out to the side of the magazine,...

Seeburg 220/222 Project

Drill the lock. While you can buy a speciality pick tool for Ace-style locks,
actually picking one is quite a bit more difficult than a standard pin tumbler
lock.

Seeburg R...not picking up every record

The issue is probably a contact block assembly that is sticking in the bottom
U-channel of the selector assembly (aka "pin bank"). The trip solenoid
energizes just slightly before the carriage...
