Still think the e-bay sale price is a true indication,as it is without
premiums etc., and certain key issues eg NZ smiling boys [the only one I
know...] would give a bench mark.

Fonts

Yeah, tried that, but the size and resolution makes the final font
pretty hazy ie it looks exactly as if that is what has been done,
unfortunately.

expensive) Deegam
Machin catalogue my wife and I saw a second-hand one in a Nottingham stamp
dealer's shop for just 15 pounds....

Surely the value is what someone paid and not what someone thinks
someone else would pay??

ie SG or S number xx sold for £yy or got no bids at £zz.

Now that we're in sharing caring Xmas mode someone must know where to
find info. on the fonts used on GV/GVI Commonwealth issues eg the GVI
Ascension.

Must be a traditional one, I would have...

Sticking Hawid mounts

How does one use and stick Hawid mounts or similar, a really
idiot/dummy/newbie guide is definitely required, a site will do.

fonts used in stamp design

Thanks for that; will look.

As the stamps are 70 years old the fonts must be as well but all the
sites seem to feature fonts that are less than 70 days old!!!!

Do any of the stamp history books...

I'm interested in the fonts used on old stamps ie pre QEII.

sometimes they seemed to use two fonts in the country name in the same issue!!

Anyone point me towards something??

Is the art or picture on a stamp copyrighted??

That is, if I blew up, photographed, or reproduced, the lovely enlarged
image and sold it would I be infringing anything??
