This maybe a stretch but...
 

I am looking for a book I thought it was called "The Egyptian Club". I
read this book in 4th grade probably about 23 years ago. It was about a
group of kids who create a little Egyptian city in an unused lot in the
inner city. I would like to try and find this book but all I have to go
on is a title that may or may not be correct. I have done searches for
it and checked book stores and out of print sites on line but nothing.
Maybe someone can help me???

I seemed to recall that my son had this book, and as it turns out, he does!
It's called 'The Egypt Game', by Zilpha Keatley Snyder. Copyrighted 1967,
and is a Newbery winner. If this isn't it, I'll be surprised. It's still in
print, as I just bought it a year or two ago.

The book you are looking for is "The Egypt Game" by
Zilpha Keatly Snyder. It's a Newberry Award Winner,
originally published in 1967.
