collecting - Irish £10 note

Yes, from my holidays in Scotland I know that receiving non Scottish or
English notes is scarce. And for foreigners even receiving Scottish notes
is more difficult than receiving English notes (do you really get rid of
English notes so eagerly).

From what circulates where on the Britsh Isles, my experience is:

England/Wales: only English notes
Scotland: Scottish and English notes
Northern Ireland: Northern Irish, Scottish, English notes and notes from the
Isle of Man
Isle of Man: English and Scottish notes and those from the Isle of Man
Channel Islands: Jersey, Guernsey and English notes and sometimes Scottish.

What I always wonder about, in Scotland the notes of the Clydesdale bank
are much scarcer than those of the other two banks. In Northern Ireland
I found no difference in the distribution amongst the three banks. (In
most places the three banks were sitting happily next to each other in the
main street.)
