Civil War Canister Ball or Grape Shot Ball, Inert

This is a Civil War Canister Ball. It is all iron and measures 1 ½ " in
diameter. These were put in a canister and fired similar to grape shot at
the opposing army. This was found in Ohio. This came from a collection of
Civil War artifacts from a local collector.
