Does anyone amongst our New York area correspondents know whether the
dealer Lawrence A Baron is still alive?

Larry Baron ran the Rego Stamp Company near to Broadway, NY, for many
years before retiring to his home in Monroe Village , New Jersey,
from which he dealt for some years.

He was always on my list of New York dealers to visit whenever I was
in the city and he was a great character in the "old time" tradition
of stamp dealers. I haven't heard from him for years and I cannot
find any web contact for him.

I'd value any info.
