Am I a black cloud

For the lastmonth I have been buying quite a few slabbed Morgans 0N
EBAY. Three of the dealers who I purchased from who were power sellers
with thousands of feedbacks have disappeared and are now lister as NARU.

This is the first time in years on ebay that I have seen active dealers
shutdown who were power sellers. Am I missing something in the coin
sales area on ebay?

Happened to me a couple of years ago -- powerseller and all. Once epay
decides they don't like you, forget it... you're gone.

I have had a couple of sellers who I have dealt with on Ebay over the
years go NARU. Whenever I notice it in myfeedback, I always wonder why.

Does an extended period of inactivity have anything to do with it? I haven't
purchased on ebay for several years, and a recent check shows that my
account seems to have vanished...along with 50 positive feedbacks. ;)

I don't understand NARU. I did read an article in the WSJ regarding a
seller of Hummel statues. He sold hundreds legitimately with the intent
of building a excellent eBay reputation. Then he intentially auctioned
hundreds of items around the same time, collected the money, and
skipped town. I suppose there is 100% guarenteed safe transaction. I
have been fortunate never to have been skrewed. I do, however, not buy
multiple expense items from the same seller, unless I have built up my
my personal track record with them. I think the probability of being
skrewed is relatively low, if you use common sense when bidding.

I sold an item to a buyer, received feedback, went to give feedback, and he
was NARU. All within a week's (or two) time. He had over 1,000 feedback
points. Odd.

Try getting a straight answer out of those snotty-nosed kids that work
at ebay. My first account had (ready for this?) two positive feedbags
and I got NARU'ed. And months of writing to them, trying to find out
why, got me nowhere. Just about everything they wrote back referred to
violation of their policies. And they refused to tell me which
policies I'd violated. I bought two items, quick payments, happy
sellers, and ebay thinks I'm a dirtbag. Screw them. I'll buy, but
I'll never sell on ebay.

Well Jerry it seems really strange to me as I know one of the sellers
(he lives back in my home area). He was a power seller, several thousand
sales and a 99,9 feedback. He tried to find out why and received the
same responce you did.
