The Badger Stamp Club of Madison, Wis., is offering a cacheted cover
in conjunction with the Civil War theme of DANEPEX ’11 to be held on
April 17. The multicolored cachet depicts the eagle named “Old Abe,”
mascot of the 8th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. The pictorial cancel
features Confederate and Union flags. Covers are franked with a single
2011 Civil War stamp from the set of two. To view a mock-up of the
