BUTLER TWP. – Township police investigated the following crashes:

Samantha Cress, 18, of West Foothills Drive, Drums, lost control of
her vehicle on Bear Run Drive in Beech Mountain Lakes around 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, police said.

Cress’ vehicle went out of control while rounding a curve and slid
sideways on an icy roadway, police said. Her vehicle then crashed into
a vehicle driven by Charles Nudo Jr., 46, of Bear Run Drive, Drums.

Neither driver was injured, police said.
