The common myth is that star notes are replacement notes for damaged notes.
However, it is mathematically impossible for so many bundles to have the
last two notes only be damaged notes. Does it have anything to do with
their serial numbers ending in 999 and 000? Does anyone know for certain
why somebody at the BEP would be pulling the last two notes in the last
strap? I am not complaining mind you, just curious as to what is happening.
