ebay policy on fakes and forgeries ... and imitations
Recently Ebay has been the subject of CRIMINAL investigations by Interpol.
Ebay was allowing some of its power sellers to sell counterfeits and forgeries of the stamps of Germany, among others. The German government did what any prudent entity should, namely charge the accomplice, in this case Ebay. Victims who bought this unmarked garbage were rightfully enraged. Articles relating to one such seller have evn appeared in ngs. Stamps which are counterfeits, forgeries and fakes, need to be visibly stamped as such, as used to happen with the great forgeries by Sperati and Fournier as I recall. just my 2 pesos worth.
