this deck sat in a closet for the better part of 25 years. never
played a tape in it, cuz the power wire to the motor was not soldered
in place from the factory.

I soldered the wire in place, this thing sounds SUPER. Auto stop
doesn't work.

check it out. I played it for about 5 hours with headphones, new decks
sound so COOL !!
