"While the first half century of the comics featured many children's cartoon
comic strips, only one has been elevated to the status of "classic". Percy
Crosby's Skippy is still today among the world's most beloved cartoon
characters, a philosophical yet mischievous very real boy. Skippy appeared
in hundreds of newspapers worldwide and inspired countless dolls, toys, food
products, books and promotional items. He was also the subject of a 1931
feature film, songs, novels, a radio show, one of the first comic books ever
published and he appeared in Life magazine for over two years.

Your limited edition Skippy doll has been produced under the authority of
the Percy Crosby Estate. He features a body sculpted by noted doll artist
Ping Lau and has been crafted of the finest materials."
