Anyone think this Lincoln item is genuine ?

Genuine? Probably not. It looks like some kind of campaign memorabilia for
the presidential election of 1864.

Austseller123 has the following 1864 Abraham Lincoln item on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=6625324 242

In judging the item for authenticity, one might consider the following:

1) The seller lives in Belarus (between Russia and Poland) but claims to
be in Australia.

2) He is well known for selling fake Russian coins.

3) He also, from time to time, sells Confederate memorabilia, which of
course is
common in Belarus.

4) One must be approved as a bidder in advance!

Has anyone even seen anything like the Lincoln item being offered?

As disgusting as this auction is, it's no worse than advertising a VG coin
as a Fine.

Just the negative feedbacks for selling at least a couple of fakes,
and for lying about where he's located, IMO scream out "don't be
suckered into buying from this guy!!!"
