BRITISH INDIA Banknotes on eBay
Just wanted to tell you about a few British India banknotes I have up for
sale. Please do have a look at : George VI , 1943 Rupees 100 Issued from Bombay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3044028820 The first Rupee 1 issue. George V , 1917 two consecutive notes http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3043572144 British India banknotes were used by Pakistan just after their breaking away from India. These notes were overprinted "Government of Pakistan" and used in Pakistan. Some of these found their way back to India, people erased the overprint and tried to use it. This is such a note which was caught and rubber stamped "Pakistan Note, Payment Refused" Interesting piece not to been seen often http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3043572133 The second issue of Rupees 1 note. George V , 1935 two different types of serial numbers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3044028824 Thanks for looking. Hello Anurag;
I am a bit confused and nervous when I see that you are registered in the United States but the location is India. I say this because there have been repeated instances of ebay sellers having their accounts hijacked and the registered in, and actual locations are the usual giveaways. I know you have ties to India, but I thought you were in the western USA. Might I suggest looking into this as it eliminates concern from those avoiding fraud. Dave "Varshney" wrote in message ...
