Question about insurance

I just came from my local post office and much to my surprise I was informed
by Canada Post they do not and will not insure collectibles. This includes
such things as sports cards.I am just wondering how you sellers on ebay deal
with this.Canada Post will sell you a tracking system that allows you to
know when the package arrives and where it is along its' trip. But no
insurance is available.PLMK if any of you other Canadian sellers have had a
similar problem.Thanks,Winston.
