Correction - Ashton Potter Numbered End Cards
The link on the previous message was not working properly.
Around September 1st, 2005, Ashton Potter started using End Cards that featured a number in the 'NOTICE' triangle. I have three different examples with an assortment of numbers as high as 30 on the New Mexico Rio Grande Blankets end card. In addition to the Rio Grande Blankets, Ashton Potter has used numbers on the "Masterworks of Modern American Architecture" end cards and the "To Form a More Perfect Union" end cards. Examples of each are illustrated on the Plate Number Coil Collectors Club (PNC3) Booklet web site at http://booklets.pnc3.org/EndCards/Nu...ds/NECards.htm. Any additional information on the use of these new numbers would be appreciated. Ron Maifeld, Webmaster, PNC3 |
