I guess its pointless to explain again, but, my mom is getting raped over $2,000 again on credit fraud. Of course she isn't going to pay it, but its more trouble than its worth, from a credit card my mom did NOT even have. Gee..I wonder how bad it would be to carry around those few of those more...

Finding Jefferson Nickels in Circulation by The Giant Brain
I routinely get rolls of nickels from the bank to try and plug the holes in my Whitman albums. It has become a rare occurrence to find nickels made before 1964. Even 70's and 80's dates are becoming uncommon. I haven't gotten a 2009 yet either. Where are all those nickels going?

Not a world cruise, but still... by Scott Stevenson
Found in change from the local 7-11--a 1926 Lincoln cent in F-15. Oddly, with the 1938 I found a couple of weeks ago, I've seen more pre-war Lincolns in circulation (2) than 2009's (1). take care, Scott same year that my mom was born...

Collecting National Park Quarters by Bruce Remick
I noticed the recent announcement that the Federal Reserve probably won't be letting banks order the new National Park quarters by specific design. Rather than an inconvenience to collectors, I would like to think that this would make it more of a challenge to assemble a set of quarters by...

Another Book Question: COB References? by Nick Knight
Gang, I drove 2 hours to Columbus on Saturday ... no, not for the Ohio State game. I wish I would have known traffic was going to be so heavy because of that! There were a record (for me) count of 10 state troupers active going down and a whopping 18 coming back. Anyway ... I didn't have tons...

I ordered a proof set and uncirculated set a week ago and they arrived first thing this morning. The coins were well packed in a sturdy box and were in excellent condition. I've had problems with the Mint before but this time they did just fine.

Insurance on coins when mailing by Thomas A.[_2_]
OK, we've all heard the stories and read the letters to CW and NN about the USPS giving a customer trouble over a claim. I would actually like to know the truth. Let's keep the shipping within the US for starters. If I register and insure a box of coins for $5000 with the USPS and they lose...

A quarter I got with my change by B H
Does anyone know? I found a 1981 quarter with a large S stamped beside the back of George Washington's head. Can you tell me if it is a misprint or a special quarter or did someone deliberately stamp it that way? Thank you.
